All five drawings were drawn in full scale to my actual cube. The hardest drawing to do was the three dimensional drawing because it was hard to match up the straws with the same angles of the cube. The easiest drawing was the edge drawing because it was a close up of just one edge, which was easy because my cube was very simple.

intersection
My first ideas were a small bag with a draw string, a picture frame and a message board. My final product ended being a completely new concept. I weaved fabric and paper together to create the "container" for my sketchbook. I used thread to sew the ends together so there would be much cleaner lines. I liked the idea of weaving the materials together because it worked better with the "intersection" idea.

favorite blog
My favorite blog out of the million and one that I browsed through is Suzanne Cabrera's blog. It just so happens that she is one of my teachers as well. I love the blog because it's plain but yet very bold because all of the artwork pops. The artwork is very simple but yet has meaning and a sense of humor behind every piece. The blog stood out to me because most of the entries were about everyday life, which is very easy to relate to. I also really liked the fact that it was very humorous.
